Cass Arboit joined Ray White Burdekin as their Rural Sales representative in 2009 after selling his Cane Farming business which he farmed since 1958. During the 51 years as a grower he was for 30 years also involved in the distribution of tractors, farm machinery and motor vehicles to all parts of the region.
He is well known and respected having spent many years as a member and chairman of the Kalamia Cane Growers as well as some time as a director of Cane Growers Queensland and North Burdekin Water Board. Other community organisations such as school P&C and Junior Farmers Organisation saw Cass offer his service where he also spent time as Chairman.
His experience in the industry and knowledge especially in the rural environment with soil types, irrigation, crops etc is an invaluable asset when advising both vendor and purchaser when it comes to the important decision involving negotiation regarding one's future career or retirement.
His many property sales have included Cane Farms, Grazing Blocks, Mango Orchards, Mixed Crops, Hobby Farms and recently the successful sale of the former Burdekin Agricultural College for the Qld Govt. He is currently completing the Auctioneering module and looks forward to his first property auction soon.
